Rishabh Pant, the younger wicketkeeper-basemen for India had been making efforts for a permanent place in the team. The Indian batting coach Vikram Rathour while speaking with Sportskeeda named Rishabh Pant is a special player in the team.
The left-handed young batsmen made his entry into the team to suffice the responsibilities of the senior player MS Dhoni. Pant initially has been successful as a driving force at any order of batting in international cricket. Yet this player was not too good at playing in recent times.
Pant draws attention of the selectors with his amazing performances during tour in England in 2018, and Australia in 2018-19. Despite his hard hitting capabilities even at lower order, Pant had no good tournaments in 2019.
However the batting coach reckons pant’s capabilities as a special player would fetch the team in seasons to come. Rathour quoted that Pant didn’t have a great last year and hasn’t done too well in international cricket. But the team management and Rathour believes that Pant can make a difference that would promote his place better.
