The Indian coach Ravi Shastri recollects his role in the success of the Test championship 2018-19. The test series that took place in Australia was just so amazing after the hosts lost. India won the series 2-1 to become the first Asian team to beat Australia on their home ground. Ravi Shastri reckons the test series win as a proud moment and applauds the team.
The team was led by Virat Kohli and it was the first time in 71 years of independence for India at that point of time. In the 3 match test series, Australia won the first match by 34 runs. The win provided them the overall 1,000th win in international cricket. However India showed and proved their strength to win the next 2 white-ball cricket matches, Shastri said.
The head coach of India also added that, as a player in the 1985 World Championship win, he feels it to be the most special memory.
