Ashwin faced the last ball of the innings

It was an exciting 2 runs requirement in 1 ball for India, in the final innings of a test match against West Indies. R Ashwin and Varun Aaron were at the crease, while Ashwin faced the last ball of the innings. His bit of hesitation during the last ball cost the team in a draw match. Without a fumble, India surely might have achieved a win.

The target set by West Indies (WI) in the second innings for India was 243. Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli have scored half-centuries in the chase, but WI got back into the game by collapsing the Indian middle-order. Later Ashwin and Aaron were at the crease, at the end of the game. Ashwin who made a century in the 1st innings of the 3rd match when India batted, made his debut earlier in the series.

The 3 test match series that were held in November 2011, India won the first two matches. Speaking on the 3rd test, India was not successful and missed it on a narrow scale. Else the result would be 3-0 win against West Indies.
