According to a report, the WPL 2023 Auction will take place on February 13 in Mumbai. The Auction will include a total of 5 teams, each receiving a purse worth INR 12 crore (App USD 1.46 million). In the Women’s Premier League team auction, BCCI got INR 4669.99 crores. The WPL 2023 winner will receive a prize of INR 6 crore, and the runner-up will receive INR 3 crore, according to BCCI’s confirmation. One crore Indian rupees will go to the third team. In addition to serving as a mentor and counsellor, Mithali Raj will advance women’s cricket and work to build the game from the ground up.
