The reputed bowlers at the international level had talked on the impact of corona that changed the way things happen and continue for an uncertain period of time. The Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah talks on saliva ban that’s going to affect the swing moment for all the bowlers including him. He spoke on a video series held by ICC called ‘Inside Out’ send said an alternative to saliva ban would be helpful in managing bowling, but might not be to an extent that it was.

Amid COVID-19 pandemic, ICC has taken a decision to ban saliva in international formats of cricket. There’s no certainty of this rule being applied in terms of time frames. Besides, a discussion by ICC Cricket Committee led by Anil Kumble has agreed to the decision of saliva ban taken by ICC. However the committee recommended the highest board to look into artificial applications of ball shining that might help the bowlers maintain their pace.
