While there’s enough time left for the IPL 2020 to take place, Rohit Sharma says players can get good training until the tournament starts. The delayed schedule of IPL 2020 this year will be taking place from September 19 to November 10.
The governing council of IPL has recently announced that this year’s IPL will be held in UAE. While the 13th season is just ahead, players have been regularly posting their practice videos. It has been a long gap of 5 months since the outdoor practice outdoors is restricted.
So, the players are getting back into action and strongly working on fitness. Besides, Rohit Sharma who’s the captain of Mumbai Indians believes there is enough time for the players before the IPL to build up their fitness and skills.
Rohit said to PTI that “Hopefully, the gym will open this week and I can start my indoor (strength training) sessions. Right now, due to Mumbai monsoons, you can’t train outdoors. I am planning to write a letter to MCA (on using indoor facilities).”
