Former Indian player Dinesh Karthik has announced his retirement from all the formats of cricket on Wednesday. Mongia has played 57 ODIs for India without playing a single Test match, he has played 121 first-class games which includes 21 centuries. Dinesh Mongia’s last appearance in the game was in Punjab, he joined the Indian Cricket League & got banned by the board, this punishment has made Mongia lose connection from the game. Dinesh Mongia was appointed as State selector by the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA).
