When it comes to test matches, Indian reputed batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara is always on the cards. But the 2nd Test match that will be held in Australia during December 2020 is quite different. With the format of day-and-night match, the test match will have a pink ball in place. Pujara speaks about facing the pink ball in a test format, on the Sony channel show called Ten Pit Stop.
It is quite different as we have been playing a day match in tests, and with the red-colored ball. Now this new format will be challenging, Pujara said. It might take some time to understand the conditions with the pacers bowling a pink ball, he added. Pujara has played 77 Tests and recollects his batting style with SG red ball. But playing with the pink ball is a challenge.
India will travel to Australia for a four Test match series. The first test is scheduled to commence starting from December 3 at the Gabba in Brisbane.
