South African wicket-keeper batsman Quinton De Cock is newly appointed captain of South African team. When he was first given the captaincy opportunity De Cock was injured in the 3rd ODI against Srilanka, the series was lost by South Africa eventually, hence he is given another chance by the South African board for the ongoing series against India, as we know the 1st game was washed-out due to rain, 2nd game is going to be on 18th Sep at Mohali. Quinton in a press conference has admitted that Captaincy is a new stepping stone in his career.
