SBI boost for BCCI as Indian Board to earn INR 47 crore

With the help of a sponsorship agreement with SBI Life, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has increased its revenue. SBI Life, the State Bank of India’s insurance division, has been named by the BCCI as one of its official partners for both domestic and international cricket for the 2023–2026 season. A statement that was released on Friday, September 20, made the announcement.

According to Live Cricket Score, SBI Life, one of the biggest insurance providers in India, sealed the deal by agreeing to pay INR 85 lakh per game rather than the original base price of INR 75 lakh. The first ODI against Australia, which was played in Mohali and ended on Friday, marked the beginning of the alliance (September 22).

Similar to the agreement with IDFC First Bank, the title sponsor for all domestic bilateral series in India, who pays Rs 4.2 crore for each game, this three-year pact with SBI Life covers 56 games.

“We are thrilled to welcome SBI Life on board as an Official Partner for BCCI’s Domestic and International Season for the next three years, leading up to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023,” BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said of the alliance.
