Aakash Chopra’s views on Line-up for Test matches in Australia

BCCI has already confirmed that India would be visiting Australia for a four-match Test series that starts from December 3. The first match is set to take place at Gabba in Brisbane. However the formal announcement on Indian team is yet to come.

With all the expectations and excitement from fans about the upcoming schedule, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra reveals his thoughts on the team line-up that might be seen missing few key players. The strong Indian team which has been performing to the best in recent times is hard to predict. But, Aakash feels that Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya might not be placed in the playing XI.

Besides, there have been various combinations across different departments that need to be sorted. With multiple players fitting at different positions, India still has time to pick the choices. Talking about openers Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal, either of them can be picked or would it be Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul in the opening pair.

While choosing the wicket-keepers, either Wriddhiman Saha or Rishabh Pant can be a best choice. The real question lies in picking up all rounders Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja.

Aakash Chopra on his YouTube channel Aakash Vani answered this question related to all rounders that’s posed by a fan. He said any combination among the 3 players is possible and can be worked out greatly. However there are chances for both Jadeja and Pandya missing, he said.
