Former New Zealand Mike Hesson is appointed as Director of cricket operations for RCB, and also Simon Katich is appointed as head coach. RCB management has also mentioned that they have discontinued their contact with former head coach Gary Kirsten & former bowling coach Ashish Nehra. RCB also mentioned that Hesson has performed well in Team India head coach selection as well & also has a very good record as a coach, hence these things are considered in appointing him as Director of cricket operations for RCB.
