The actual schedule of the September series between team India and England might get postponed due to covid-19 pandemic. As the cases increase day-by-day in India, there are very few chances of six-match limited-over’s series taking place on fixed days. However there’s no official statement on this yet.

The ongoing pandemic has been halting cricketing activity in all the countries and there has been postponement of various series since the end of March 2020. Besides, New Zealand A’s visit to India in the next month could also be postponed due to the pandemic. BCCI is expected to announce these series postponements and actual conditions soon.

BCCI will meet on 17 July (Thursday), where the board might discuss Team India’s Future Tours and Program (FTP) calendar. On the other hand,  India currently notes over 9 lakh positive cases of COVID -19 with the number of deaths heading towards 25,000. This condition might lead to a definitive postponement of England visiting India in September, although the spread of the virus decreases.
