This Indian speedster has emerged as one of India’s cricket hidden gems and recognized as the significant bowler in the current Test team. He made his debut in the first season of Indian Premier League (IPL) and has been playing for different franchises since then.
Ishant was picked up by Delhi Capitals in the last year (2019) with the coach being Ricky Ponting. His last match for the T20I format was in 2013 and in ODIs was in 2016 respectively. After a gap, he made his comeback last year in the shorter format. With a great motivation from Ricky Ponting, Ishant had performed well.
Ishant Sharma has taken 13 wickets in the last season, which is his second best IPL performance ever. He accomplished this target and led the team to reach the play-offs, said Ishant on the chat.
