At the comfort of home play, India is hosting a 3 day ODI series starting from 12 March. After India surrendered to a clean sweep in the white-ball cricket against New Zealand in their country, now the nation is back to home. On the other hand, South Africa in their country leads the tournament 3-0 against Australia in the ODI series.
The conditions are quite different considering the full package of the Indian team in the home country, whilst South Africa has a strong line-up for competing against the hosts. The first match happening at Dharamsala is noting on low temperatures and the threat of rain is looming. India might still be setting conditions strongly in favor of home. Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are on the cards to join the series after injuries concerning the selection in previous matches. And CSA (Cricket South Africa) board has gone through an assessment recently before the team traveled to India. The assessment relates to the don’ts to be followed concerning coronavirus. No handshakes are the advice from the board as the series progresses and it’s the decision for the player’s safety, said CSA.
